ServerPronto Hosting offers a wide range of service plans surrounding their dedicated servers, such as the Starter, Power, and Power Plus package. Setup fees are steep, though, at $69-449 depending on the plan you choose, making ServerPronto a relatively expensive option compared to the better-rated web hosts featured on our list of the Top 10 Dedicated Web Hosting Companies.
Reliability
ServerPronto Hosting operates their own network in the U.S. and maintains redundant fiber optic rings that allow them to directly peer with Tier 1 Internet backbones. Their servers are housed in secured and reinforced data centers with redundant power, fast fiber connections, and 24x7x365 support. They also boast a 99.999% uptime guarantee and although their reliability has not often come into question, our feedback indicates that they may not quite be hitting that target.
Control Panel
ServerPronto employs two different control panels, one for each operating system available to its customers. For Linux/Unix users, Webmin is available for free, but you can also get Plesk 7.5 Reloaded or CPanel; unfortunately, both come at an extra cost. Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration, with which you can set up user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing, and much more. For Windows users, Plesk 7.5 and Helm are available, again at an extra cost. Both of these control panels are feature-rich and employ easy-to-use interfaces that allow even the newest of beginners customize their website.
Customer Support
ServerPronto offers a 24/7/365 support center with a live operator. Support is offered through U.S. and international lines, e-mail, and a ticketing system. Interestingly you get a certain number of support tickets included with your plan but there is a charge over and above these limits, which can get quite costly.
