New York, New York - (The
Hosting News) - May 7, 2007 - Enterprise hosting,
managed network, and IP networking services firm, and
wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications
Corporation, NTT America, will support the second annual
NewNew Internet: IPv6 Conference, as a bronze
sponsor.
NTT America's participation in the
event, will also include an exclusive sponsorship of the
VIP reception for the event, in Washington D.C. on May
10, 2007. As one of the industry's premier IPv6 events,
the conference promotes education and awareness of the
mandatory federal government migration to an IPv6
network. NTT America is the only company on the federal
GSA Schedule 70 that offers IPv6 commercial off the
shelf (COTS) transit services (GS-35F-0322T).
ExecutiveBiz and SI International will host the
event. This year, the focus will be ''Success in
Building and Securing the Next-Generation IPv6-enabled
Internet.'' Expert speakers and panelists, from
Government and Industry, will offer attendees guidance
and advice, based on first-hand experience, for building
and securing a robust IPv6 network infrastructure. They
will highlight the benefits of the new protocol, how it
fits into the enterprise infrastructure, the
technologies that enable it, and the real value it
brings. They will also highlight the risks associated
with such a large scale transition, and how these risks
should best be managed.
IPv6 is emerging
internationally, in the US Government, and in the US
private sector; it is being inserted via technology into
public sector and commercial enterprises. Government and
business executives, network architects, engineers and
managers will benefit from the conference’s emphasis on
successful implementation, management, value-creation,
and downside mitigation.
Executives from NTT
America will provide attendees with information and
access to its IPv6 products, which can support
transition needs at speeds of up to 10 gigabytes per
second across four continents. Additionally, the
conference marks the first formal appearance of the
entire CIO Council IPv6 Working Group, who has been the
driving force behind the IPv6 migration at the federal
level.
